The weather in North Myrtle Beach is nearly incomparable during the winter months. As you sprawl across a beach blanket with your toes in the sand and a drink in hand, the cool coastal breeze can really take hold of you. Worries simply drift away. October and November, along with March and April, may very well be the best times to visit, as temperatures reach highs between 65 and 75 degrees, while lows range from the mid 40s to the mid 50s. Even in December the average high sits at around 60 degrees, with lows staying above freezing at 37. It's the crispness you desire during the holiday season, but with the warmth and comfort of a subtropical climate.

Sunshine abounds with the area logging around 2800 hours, or 215 days, of Sol's bright rays a year. Precipitation is low as well, particularly in fall and spring. The Atlantic Ocean, on which the city of North Myrtle Beach sits, not only provides gorgeous scenery, but a more temperate climate compared to nearby inland areas of the Carolinas.
