Here are a few options for yogis, from beginners to expert:

•    Yoga in Common

This studio is located in The Market Common, which means you can combine a little stretching and breathing with some shopping, dining and maybe even a movie—talk about a relaxing way to spend the day! Every class is available for drop-on, and there’s even a kid-friendly vinyasa class on Saturday afternoons. Drop in classes are $15. Yoga in Common also offers chair, Swedish, deep-tissue, sports, Thai and prenatal massage.

•    Shanti

Shanti has created a calm and quiet oasis tucked away inside a strip mall in the heart of bustling Myrtle Beach. Vinyasa, ashtanga, and restorative yoga classes are offered seven days a week, and the schedule also includes beginner’s cases, candlelight vinyasa and hot vinyasa classes. Drop in classes are $15.

•    Bliss Yoga

This Surfside Beach studio offers gentle yoga, ashtanga and vinyasa classes. We also love the Beach Bliss Yoga classes, which are donation only and open to all levels; they take place at 9 a.m. on the Beach a couple of Sundays per month in season. The most up-to-date schedule for Bliss Yoga can be found on the studio’s Facebook page

•    The Yoga Room Healing Arts Cooperative

This studio is focused on healing and preventative care, and is encouraging to all levels of fitness. Classes range from $5 community yoga classes to kung fu, reike, tai chi to yoga basics and restorative yoga and psychic development. Single class drop in classes are $15, $10 for seniors.
