The Market Common has a great new Mexican Cantina – Nacho Hippo!

The talk of Nacho Hippo has been overwhelming for the past few months. In the wake of the news that Market Common restaurant, Roy & Sids was closing we were informed that a new Divine Dining concept would open in its place. A mexican restaurant with an odd name. Nacho Hippo. And in a short time the modern, American styled Roy & Sids was transformed into a hip, colorful Cantina Maximo.

We were stoked to check the place out and honestly couldn’t wait.

Nacho Hippo is now home in what used to be Roy & Sids, but Nacho Hippo isn’t as big as the previous restaurant -there is a wall where there didn’t used to be a wall- and it is now a galley style restaurant with the bar as the focal point. Outside now bolsters a patio along the main road, but it was way too cold to even think about enjoying the new patio.

When seated at a table the first thing one notices is the unique menu designa triangle that folds out in four ways to reveal a small, but flavorful menu. And the second thing one notices is the mini Hungry Hungry Hippo game on the table -the first thing we did was play a quick round.
