Kids love Island Vista Resort for many reasons. The beach, the pool, family fun, great summer weather  — can it get much better?

Yes it can! Say hello to the Kids Club, Island Vista's complete schedule of fun and supervised activities for kids age 5-12.

Kids Club runs on a drop-in basis and is free for resort guests, except for a few activities that may have a small materials fee (please pay in cash at the beginning of the activity). The club operates Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The activity schedule varies, but check with the front desk for an up-to-date listing of activities. To participate, pick up a Kids Club bracelet from the front desk, then just locate Kids Club staffers in their distinctive T-shirts.

Directors of Kids Club activities are college students from all over the world. This provides children with exposure to a range of interesting cultures, and some activities each week will specifically focus on fun learning about other countries.

Other activities may include scavenger hunts, beach games, crafts, tie-dying T-shirts, fun pool games, family trivia, sandcastle building, shell painting and more. Activity directors are always on the lookout for new and exciting programming. Check with them to see what fun activities are planned for the day!

While Kids Club activities are targeted toward those age 5-12, older children are always welcome to participate, too.

The Kids Club is a great way for kids to remain social with their peers during vacation. They can meet other kids and engage in fun games and crafts, all while being creative and learning in a fun environment. It's also a good way for parents to meet other parents. Parents can engage in all of the activities with their children. Or, relax by the pool and watch!
