You still have time to enjoy Myrtle Beach's Hot Summer Nights entertainment, offered throughout the summer each year just steps away from the Driftwood at the Boardwalk.

Hot Summer Nights offers free nightly fun, music and activities for all guests and visitors along the Boardwalk. Driftwood guests are just moments away from the fun and entertainment, so don't miss it!.

This year, Hot Summer Nights — taking place at Plyer Park and along Ocean Boulevard — offers tons of activities, so there will be something new every night. Enjoy free outdoor concerts by the seaside, featuring a variety of different kinds of music. Or take the kids to a carnival to experience stilt walkers, inflatables and more. Here's a look at what's going on this week for Hot Summer Nights:

As a bonus this year, Saturday's Hot Summer concerts will continue throughout the month of September, from 8 to 11 p.m., although acts for those dates have not been finalized. Stay tunes to find out more about these free concerts.

Hot Summer Nights was developed and supported by the Oceanfront Merchants Association and the City of Myrtle Beach specifically to be a fun, family-friendly event on the iconic Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. There's always something to appeal to kids and families.

And that's a perfect fit for guests at Driftwood at the Boardwalk, a Myrtle Beach vacation destination for more than 70 years with a strong tradition of drawing families for unforgettable vacations. The Driftwood is located just a few steps north of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Promenade and the Sky Wheel, which is adjacent to Plyler Park, the center of activities for Hot Summer Nights.

The Driftwood's proximity to the Boardwalk makes it a good bet when planning your vacation. After all, not only Hot Summer Nights, but tons of other activities, events and attractions are located on the Boardwalk, a mile-plus oceanfront promenade that draws tons of foot traffic throughout the summer and beyond. A popular draw for families who want to shop, dine and enjoy some of the myriad attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer, the Boardwalk is just moments away from the Driftwood, a centrally located resort property that's still family-owned after more than 70 years. Although the Driftwood's quaint cottages gave way to modern accommodations years ago, the hotel has kept its attention to personal service, making it a hotel that draws families back again and again.

With its proximity to the Boardwalk and Hot Summer Nights, you can't ask for a better place to be close to all of the fun.
