Holiday Parades in Myrtle Beach

The holidays are a wonderful time to be at the beach—there’s really nothing like Christmas with southern charm. There are plenty of fun activities planned throughout the season, including several terrific holiday parades! Check out a few of our favorites:

29thAnnual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta Boat Parade

Friday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m.

The boat parade is a unique parade that takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway. Boaters gather from all over the area and decorate their boats to show off to parade watchers. The boat parade begins at the Little River Inlet and goes to the Dock Holiday Marina, so there are plenty of places along the way with a view.

Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade

Sunday, December 1 at 3:00 p.m.

This parade will be a bit of a drive, but we think it’s worth the trip. You’ll want to make it early, as it marches right in front of the very popular Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet.

Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m.

Beginning and ending at Broadway at the Beach, the parade travels around the center, which makes it easy to see the parade from all around Broadway. After the parade, Broadway at the Beach will be hosting other festivities, so plan to spend the afternoon.

North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Starting on Main Street and ending up on Ocean Boulevard, the North Myrtle Beach parade features floats and walking groups. Santa is even planning to attend! Be sure to pack a blanket because it may get chilly when the sun starts to go down.

Surfside Beach Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m.

The Surfside Beach Christmas Parade goes down Ocean Boulevard and includes walking groups and floats made by locals. There are several places along Ocean Boulevard to see the parade, but again, make sure to beat the crowds to get an optimal spot.
